Kyle Meissner
Kyle is low country born and raised. He grew up fishing the creeks of the May River and surfing up and down the east coast. He proudly served in the U.S.C.G. where he learned many of the skills and core values that he applies to his business today. Teaming up with his dad and close friend to help service his local community has been a dream come true.
Ken Fahringer
Ken moved to Charleston and joined his long time friend Ken Meissner to help with the business in 2019. He served in the US Navy's construction division "SEABEES" where he learned the carpentry and maintenance skills he uses today to help with our customers. Ken Meissner
Ken Meissner began helping friends and family with his handyman skills when he moved to James Island in 2016 and with encouragement from his first "customers" he founded James Island Home Services shortly after. Working with rental companies on Hilton Head during the late 70's and 80's, Ken used his skills to start up, operate and eventually sell his first successful service company. Moving to Atlanta, Ken entered the corporate world and eventually retired from an M&A position with a company he started and sold years later. As customers continue to recommend James Island Home Services, it has grown over the years and now boasts a customer base of over 1500 satisfied island residents.
